I have been nominated for The Jolly Blogger Award by Brin @ Brin’s Book Blog! I just started this blog in September and so I haven’t heard about a lot of the awards that are out there but I am always super excited when I get nominated for one! I love Christmas so this one is really great to keep up the Christmas spirit!

Here are the questions:
1. What is on your Christmas Wish list?
I have different lists for each family so I don’t have to worry about duplicates. Some of the things on my lists were Prince Lestat by Anne Rice, The King’s Curse by Philippa Gregory, Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on bluray, Kenny Chesney: The Big Revival, Tim McGraw: Sundown Heaven, and some EOS lip balm.
2. What would be the perfect Christmas?
My favorite way to spend Christmas is at home with my family, relaxing around the tree, watching Christmas movies, playing games and doing puzzles.
3. What’s your favourite winter make-up look?
I hardly ever wear makeup anymore. When I do it’s usually just some mascara and eyeshadow.
4. Do you believe in Santa?
Not anymore.
5. What is your favourite Christmas food or drink?
My favorites are always the Scandinavian cookies that my grandma would make every Christmas. So good!
6. Will you be travelling for Christmas, if so where?
Tonight I’ll be heading maybe 20 miles away from home to my hubby’s dad’s side of the family. Then tomorrow another 10ish miles away to be with his mom’s side of the family. Then less than a mile to my parent’s house.
7. Would you prefer Christmas with or without snow?
Without! And looks like this year I get my wish! We were supposed to get snow but it’s been so warm that it has only been raining! All the snow we had before has melted! YAY!
8. Do you like eggnog?
Nope, not one bit!
9. What is your favourite winter clothing?
I have a big thing for hoodie sweatshirts and slippers.
10. Do you leave Santa cookies, if so who eats them?
No way! We can’t ever leave food out at our house or our cats would eat them all and weigh 20 lbs.
11. What was the best gift you ever received?
Probably Christmas 2008! The biggest part of my present was my month long trip to Italy and France for a college class and so many of my other presents were new items for the trip.
12. What is your favourite Christmas memory?
Some of my favorite Christmas memories are being out at my grandparents’ house in the Black Hills. They live in a gorgeous log cabin that my grandpa and other family members built from the ground up. It’s really beautiful out there during the holidays and it’s so fun getting together with all of my cousins, aunts and uncles.
