72 Hour Read-A-Thon: Book Spine Poetry

I had a lot of fun with this post.  Something new to me.  Book spine poetry!  I haven’t created poetry since high school.  I used to love writing poems so maybe this will spark my interest again.

Daily Bookish Challenges | Trees of Reverie 72HR Read-A-Thon

Day One: Saturday, January 24:

Create some book spine poetry!

  • Create a poem using a minimum of three books. There is no maximum.
  • You must use all of the words in the title of the book towards your poem.
  • The poem does not have to rhyme or make sense.
  • If you are struggling to create a poem, you may use one free word of your choice for each book that features in your poem. The word can be anything that you’d like and can feature in any part of your poem.

Far from the madding crowd,

In the land of the long white cloud,

A northern light.

The hangman’s daughter,

Come to me softly

A walk in the woods

The distant hours

Into thin air.
