Review: Before I read this book I had book #1.5 in the series, Entice. I read that one first because it’s the prequel to Ignite. It definitely sparked my interest in Pen’s character and I wanted to read more about her.

I really liked this book! In fact, I really really liked this book. I love how at first Pen is completely consumed by Hell and doing demon things but when she is assigned to follow Michael, she comes to realize that the world isn’t black or white. He helps her to break free from the spell she was under and become a new person. The author does a fantastic job of weaving the story of an angel and a demon together. The way she describes everything from the setting, to the facial expressions, to the struggle of making hard decisions is awesome and vivid. I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like in this book! I would recommend this book to people looking for a new supernatural series to start. I can’t wait to start reading the next book in the series, Incite.
