It is once again time to check in on the #ReadingMyLibrary Challenge! Last week I posted about the new library books I checked out. I am very surprised but happy to say that I started the last book this morning while I was waiting for my oil change.
The challenge ends on Thursday so I have plenty of time to finish this book as I plan for it to be the last library book I read for awhile so I can concentrate on reading my vast collection of books I own but have not read.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with this challenge and discovered a lot of awesome books! And the best part is the money I saved from checking the books out rather than buying them! Based on current Amazon prices, I saved all of this money:
• Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater – $9.18
• Half Bad by Sally Green – $14.24
• Anna and the French Kiss – $12.91
• The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey – $11.40
• The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski – $13.76
• Austenland by Shannon Hale – $11.04
• Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale – $17.59
• The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey – $12.06
• The Young Elites by Marie Lu – $11.54
• The Night Circus by Erin Morgentstern – $10.21
Total Savings: $123.93
That’s a lot of money right there! Thank god for libraries!
This week’s discussion topic is: Share how often you visit your library.
This one is a little bit tricky. I had a long hiatus from my local library ever since I graduated high school. During college I utilized the college library at least twice a week, if not more. I only recently started going back to my local library in an effort to save money. As soon as I get more of my owned books read I plan to make it to my library at least twice a month.
How often do you visit your library?
That’s me, twice a week during most of the year, but less than once a month during the summer.

I take my daughter to the library several times a month, but unfortunately, I don’t go for myself. I get so many ebooks from Netgalley and authors/publishers, or buy them on Amazon like it’s my job.
How are you liking Night Circus??!

I haven’t gotten very far in it. It’s hard for me to read in waiting rooms with so many other things going on lol. But so far I am intrigued!
