The Disney Book Tag

I was tagged by Alina to do the Disney Book Tag!  If you haven’t checked out her blog before, go now!  She’s awesome!  I’m really excited to do this one because I’m a huge Disney fan!

The Little Mermaid#1. The Little Mermaid – A character that is out of their element, a “Fish out of Water”.

Adelina Amouteru from The Young Elites.  All her life she has felt out of place and when she finally escapes from her father, she discovers she has these dark powers and meets The Young Elites.  She struggles to understand her powers and how they work.

Cinderella-Minimalist-Poster-disney-princess-31317560-391-500#2. Cinderella – A character that goes through a major transformation.

I didn’t want to copy any of her answers but she had such a perfect choice for this one.  Sansa Stark!  She starts out as a total prissy girly girl but gradually she grows a backbone and turns into a strong woman willing to do whatever it takes to survive.

Snow White#3. Snow White – A book with an eclectic cast of characters.

I’m going to go with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.  All of these kids have these crazy different abilities and in hand with that different quirky personalities.

Sleeping Beauty#4. Sleeping Beauty – A book that put you to sleep.

Hmmm…  It didn’t necessarily put me to sleep literally but it bored me so much that I barely read any of it and still have not finished it to this day.  My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares.

abdbf5b7ccf10200282372d7c37a8ed2#5. The Lion King – A character that had something traumatic happen to them in their childhood.

Totally Harry Potter on this one!  Voldemort killed his mother right in front of him and then tried to kill him.  He was only a baby but it still traumatized him for life!

Beauty and the Beast#6. Beauty and the Beast – A beast of a book (a big book) that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful.

I don’t know if I would necessarily call it beautiful but Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell definitely would fall under the category of beast of a book that I really loved.

Aladdin#7. Aladdin – A character that get’s their wish granted, for better or for worse.

Simon from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli – he wishes so badly to meet Blue and find out who he is.  It’s all he can think about.  And for better, he gets that wish 🙂

Mulan#8. Mulan – A character that pretends to be something or someone they are not.

Lanfear from The Wheel of Time series – She is constantly changing her appearance in order to fool Rand and the others into thinking she is an ally of sorts when really she is a Forsaken, one of their greatest enemies.

Toy Story#9. Toy Story – A book with characters you wish would come to life.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon – who wouldn’t want Jamie Fraser to come to life?!?!

#10. Disney Descendants – Your favourite villain or morally ambiguous character.

DescendantsDefinitely Brennus from the Premonition series by Amy A. Bartol.  I don’t really know exactly what it is about him but I just love him!  Plus it doesn’t hurt that he has that awesome Irish accent 🙂

And now I am tagging the following:
