I was tagged by the awesome Becca @ Becca and Books to do this fun tag that she created herself. Basically she listed some countries around the world and chose a favorite book that takes place there for each. She said we can use her list and add in some of our own countries. I’m going to skip some of her countries and add in a few of my own.
My choice is so obvious for this one. I have so much love for the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. I am DYING to go to England. And Hogwarts at Universal Studios in Florida.
I’m going to have to go with Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins for this one. I just read it earlier this year and totally fell in love with characters and story.
Same answer as Becca for this one! Cinder by Marissa Meyer all the way! I love this book and the rest of the series.
The entire book is not set in Russia but a good chunk of it is so I’m going to go with A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray. I’m not usually into time travel/dimensional travel so I was really surprised by how much I loved this book!
This one is kind of on the edge of YA and children’s but I’m including it anyways because it is one of my favorite books in the whole world. Number the Stars by Lois Lowry is a book about the Holocaust and one family’s effort to hide their daughter’s best friend who is Jewish.
Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine mostly takes place in Alexandria, Egypt where The Great Library in an alternate universe where it did not burn down and still exists. Not only does it exist but the entire world revolves around it. Such a good book that just came out recently.
One of my favorites growing up, Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. I love the books and the movies. Anne is my bosom friend and if you don’t know what that means, check out the books and movies!
Last but not least we have the Netherlands. It’s not exactly a YA book but I first read it when I was in middle school so I’m just going to include it anyways. The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. If you don’t know what this book is about then you must have been living under a rock or something.
That’s all folks! I am going to tag:
Ashley @ Dear World….
Shelbie @ Lu-lu’s Rants and Reads
Stefani @ Caught Read Handed
And anybody who thinks this is a fun tag and wants to join in!
Your choices for Canada and Russia were so awesome! I didn’t even think of those!!! I’m so glad you did this tag!

I love Anne (with an E) and Number the Stars also. When I was teaching the kids loved that book, I think my enjoyment rubbed off on them. I love your images, also.
