WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words.
Each week we answer the following three questions:
-What have you recently finished reading?
-What are you currently reading?
-What are you reading next?
So I missed this post last week so I’m including all of the books I have finished since my last WWW. I absolutely loved Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. I am definitely adding that to my must-have-physical-copy list! Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard was pretty good. The Mansion’s Twins by Rose M. Channing was a book I read for the author and it was pretty darn good. I just finished Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo this morning and immediately wanted to start on the second book. Which I would have done if I didn’t have to work.
Sadly I now have two DNFs to add. The Distant Hours by Kate Morton was just so dry and long winded. I had to quit before wasting any more time on it. The other DNF was one I decided just today to not finish. Hunter by Mercedes Lackey, which I got through NetGalley. I didn’t get very far because it was just a giant dumping of information in the beginning. I like world building but not when it’s done all at once with no time to absorb the information in an interesting manner.
When I got home from work I immediately started Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo. After finishing Shadow and Bone I knew I had to read the next book right away. I’m not very far into it but am already really loving it.
What have you been reading lately?
