Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic and this week’s topic is: Top Ten Authors I’ve Read The Most Books From
Robert Jordan – 16 books
These books were all a part of The Wheel of Time series which is one of my absolute favorites!
Nicholas Sparks – 16 books
I grew up reading and collecting these with my mom.
Charlaine Harris – 15
All of the books I have read of hers are from the Sookie Stackhouse series. Although the end of the series was not my favorite, I’ll still love these books forever.
Janette Oke – 14 books
Another group of books I grew up reading with my mom. I’m not into Christian Fiction anymore but her books were a big part of my childhood so they’ll stay with me forever as well.
Valerie Tripp – 13 books
She is the author of a few of the American Girls series. I’ve read all of the Molly and Felicity books plus one of the Josephina series.
Laura Ingalls Wilder – 9 books
Another series of books that was a huge part of my childhood. I’ve been in the mood to reread these lately.
Jane Austen – 8 books
She being my favorite author, I clamor to get my hands on anything and everything Jane Austen. I’ve read her 6 full novels plus The Watsons, Sanditon, and Lady Susan.
L.M. Montgomery – 8 books
Yet another series that has had an impact on my childhood and my entire life. Anne Shirley will always be a kindred spirit and bosom friend to me.
J.K. Rowling – 8 books
I first fell in love with Rowling with Harry Potter, as everyone else. Along with The Casual Vacancy, I just love her writing.
L.J. Smith – 7 books
I have always had an interest in vampires so I finally read The Vampire Diaries books in the last year or two.
So those are the top ten authors I’ve read the most books from. Were any of these authors on your lists this week? Who are some of the authors you’ve read the most books from?
Wow you’ve read a whole lot of books by these authors! I’ve also read all the Harry Potter books and I started reading the Sookie Stackhouse series, but sadly didn’t finish them. I hope I get back to them one day. I think C S Lewis is the author I have read the most by 🙂

Great list! JK made my honorable mentions. I remember loving the first few Little House books. Great list!

You have a very well-rounded and interesting list! It’s a shame I haven’t read anything by Jane Austen. I need to at some point in my life. Okay – which is your favorite Sparks book and which is your favorite movie (assuming you’ve seen most of them). I haven’t seen the last few that have been released, but my favorite movies are A Walk to Remember and The Notebook. My favorite book is The Guardian (the book I had him sign when I met him). A Bend in the Road and The Rescue are close seconds.

Jane Austen is the best ❤ I have seen all of the movies except the newest one and Message in a Bottle. My favorite book was probably between The Guardian, The Notebook and Safe Haven. My favorite of the movies are The Notebook, Safe Haven and A Walk To Remember. The Rescue was one of the first ones I read of his. I really liked all of them except the ones with, in my opinion, terrible endings lol. For me those include The Best of Me, Message in a Bottle and Nights in Rodanthe.

I didn’t make a list, but the only duplicate I’d have from your list is Charlaine Harris. Without thinking I can say Balzac at over 100 books is my number one. M. C. Beaton and Rhys Bowen would be on the list since I read multiple series from each of them. I can also add Janet Evanovich, Michael Connelly and Sue Grafton. Heavy on the series mysteries, lol. Probably the only other classic author making the list would be Zola.

I love Charlaine Harris. She’s on my list. I need to read a Nicholas Spark book so bad.

Laura Ingalls Wilder and JK Rowling are the 2 I’ve read. They haven’t written enough to make my top 10, although I’ve read everything from both of them, even Rowling’s adult fiction and self help.

The only one of these authors whose books I have read is JK Rowling who coincidentally was also on my list this week.
