Bout of Books: 4 Seasons Challenge & Update

Book of winner’s choice (up to $12 USD) from the Book Depository

Day 4 of Bout of Books is here.  I can’t believe how fast this week is going!  Today’s challenge was a fun one.  4 Seasons Challenge from Kimberly Faye Reads!  Basically the challenge is to find a book representative of each of the 4 seasons whether it be literal or more creative.

I woke up early today so I decided I wanted to do this challenge right away.  I was struggling a bit trying to think of a book for spring but then it hit me!

Spring – A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas – Tamlin is the High Lord of the Spring Court so it’s the perfect fit!

Summer – Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins – the book starts out during Lola’s summer break so I decided to go with that one even though it moves past into fall and winter.  It’s such a light, fun read too which is perfect for summer reading.

Fall – Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon – I went a little more literal on this one.

Winter – Winter’s Heart by Robert Jordan – Again, a little more literal.

Bout of Books Day 3 Update:

# Pages Read: 272

# Pages Read Total: 754

Books Read From: Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins; A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness

Books Finished: Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins

Goal for Day 4: A Discovery of Witches is proving to be a slower read so far so my goal for today is to read at least 100 pages.
