Review:  I have to say that this is probably one of my favorite graphic novels that I have ever read.  While Outlander is told from Claire’s perspective, The Exile is mostly from Murtagh’s perspective.  It was really interesting seeing Jamie return to Scotland.  I also really enjoyed seeing more from Murtagh’s perspective.  He is one of my favorite characters.  He believes that Claire has been sent through the stones by the Old Ones.  There is also an intriguing side storyline about Geilis Duncan and another man that came through the stones.  The illustrations are beautiful.  The book ends about when Claire makes the decision not to return to her time and runs back to Jamie.  Also, at the end, Diana Gabaldon writes a “Making of…” section that was very interesting.  I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the Outlander series, books and/or show.
