Published 2007 by Harper Entertainment (first published January 1st 1998)
Goodreads Summary: Hopelessly crossed in love, a boy of half-fairy parentage leaves his mundane Victorian-English village on a quest for a fallen star in the magical realm. The star proves to be an attractive woman with a hot temper, who plunges with our hero into adventures featuring witches, the lion and the unicorn, plotting elf-lords, ships that sail the sky, magical transformations, curses whose effects rebound, binding conditions with hidden loopholes and all the rest.
Review: I really enjoyed Stardust. I love exploring new worlds in fantasy and this was an exciting world to enter and experience. Neil Gaiman’s writing is magical and took me on an unforgettable journey. There were thrilling moments as well as romantic moments. The parts of the story involving the witches and elf-lords were very exciting and got my adrenaline pumping, hoping like hell that Tristran & Yvaine could get away. If you are looking for an exciting and thrilling adventure in a fantastical world, then look no further! I really want to see the movie now!
