WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words.
Each week we answer the following three questions:
-What have you recently finished reading?
-What are you currently reading?
-What are you reading next?
Recently Finished
Dragonfly In Amber by Diana Gabaldon (audiobook)
Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined by Stephenie Meyer
DNF: ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King
Currently Reading
Voyager by Diana Gabaldon (audiobook)
The Witching Hour by Anne Rice
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Up Next
Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kauffman
I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump the past couple of weeks. I decided to give up on ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. It just wasn’t holding my interest and I didn’t want to spend any more time on it. I’m getting close to setting The Witching Hour to the side as well, but this one I will finish at a later date. It’s starting to get interesting but it’s just so long. I want to move my concentration on to some of the new releases I’ve gotten lately.
What have you been reading lately?
I hope you’re enjoying Six of Crows! And I’m really interested in what you’ll think of Illuminae. I want to try that one – it’s getting so many great reviews.
I’m sorry you’re in a slump. I have had those too often lately, and I know they suck. I hope it doesn’t last long!!

So far it’s pretty good but I haven’t read very far yet. I am really excited to get to Illuminae next! I flipped through some of the pages yesterday and it looks so cool!

Reading slumps are horrible – sometimes you just have to ditch what you’re reading and start something else just to break the slump. It’s often the case that you can come back to the book and enjoy it.

I hate reading slumps. I’m definitely going to put the slow read off to the side (The Witching Hour) and move on to the more exciting books that I’ve been wanting to read in the hopes of ridding myself of this slump. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been in a reading slump. I’ve been feeling under the weather which seems to have slowed down my reading too. I hope we both get our reading mojo back soon 🙂
