WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words.
Each week we answer the following three questions:
-What have you recently finished reading?
-What are you currently reading?
-What are you reading next?

Last week I started my re-read of The Premonition series by Amy A. Bartol.  I first discovered this series in 2013 and fell in love with it.  There are currently 4 books in the series with the 5th book to be released on December 8th.  I am so, so excited for it!  I am loving reliving this story.  I finished book 2 last night and just barely started book 3 but I know that I will have no problem finishing the 4 books before book 5’s release date.  If you haven’t read this series, I suggest you check it out if you’re into supernatural beings like divine and fallen angels, gancanagh (which in this series are kind of like faeries-turned-vampires) and demons.  If you do give it a shot but stumble on some of the outdated phrases such as “mad cool” and “phat”, just look past them.  During my re-read I realized that I must have blocked those out the first time around because they’re pretty bad but I still love the story anyways.  Brennus is my favorite ❤

So like I mentioned in the above paragraph, I am now on book 3 of The Premonition series.  I’m about 24 pages into it and will be reading more at lunch.  Today after work we are heading up for my family Thanksgiving in Duluth.  My parents rented a condo for the weekend so we’ll be spending the weekend there with them.  My brother and sister-in-law are coming in from Chicago too.  It’s going to be really fun!  I don’t know how much time I will have to read but just in case I brought along my Kindle so if I finish this one I can move on to book 4.

So up next I will be reading book 4 of The Premonition series and if there is time before book 5 comes out (which there most likely will) I am going to read Shattered Blue by Lauren Bird Horowitz.  I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff on Twitter lately about this book and it sounds awesome!  I can’t wait to read this one.

What have you been reading lately?  Do you have any fun plans or traditions for Thanksgiving?

  1. I hope you continue to enjoy your re-read of the Premonition series and your time with your family. We don’t do Thanks Giving here in the UK, but I have just spent a lovely weekend with my mother on South Coast as it was her birthday. Whilst there I finished off the wonderfully, gothic Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier.
