Why I Want To Read It: It got amazing reviews when it came out and I love things related to or inspired by ancient Rome so this sounded perfect. For no specific reason, I have continued to put off reading this book but I will be reading it in the next couple of months.

Huh. Had no idea this was inspired by ancient Rome. Whenever I’ve seen it, I’ve just assumed it was another YA dystopian, but this actually sounds interesting!

I had this one preordered for my Kindle a few months before it came out, and for some reason I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet, either. I hear so many fantastic things about this book, and can’t quite figure out why I keep putting it off, but I do. Maybe we’ll both read it and be completely blown away by how awesome it is!
