WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words.
Each week we answer the following three questions:
-What have you recently finished reading?
-What are you currently reading?
-What are you reading next?

Well it’s been another slow week on the reading front.  I was hoping the excitement I had reading Truthwitch would carry over but reading the Lunar Chronicles short stories seems to have brought me back to a halt.  I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a big fan of short stories and this hasn’t changed my mind even though they are about one of my favorite series.  I started getting in the mood for audiobooks at work again so I started and finished The Hunger Games.

Yesterday I started both The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski and an audio re-read of Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins.  I will most likely end up finishing Catching Fire today because I left off yesterday at 55%.  I did not get very far in The Winner’s Crime.  There is a big snowstorm coming my way today.  The snow totals are so across the board that I decided to just book a hotel room close to work so I don’t have to worry about driving in the snow tonight and tomorrow morning.  So annoyed that it is almost the end of March and we’re about to get dumped on with heavy, wet snow.  So I should have plenty of time to read tonight.  It will be a little weird because Ethan and I haven’t spent a night apart for years.  On the other hand, I get a king bed all to myself 🙂

Since I will hopefully finish The Winner’s Crime tonight or tomorrow, I will need another book before The Winner’s Kiss is released on Tuesday so I will be reading The Dream Thieves.  I really want to finish that and Blue Lily, Lily Blue before my special pre-order copy of The Raven King comes at the end of April.  I will also be starting my audio re-read of Mockingjay later today.  I’ve really enjoyed reliving The Hunger Games trilogy, and in perfect time to re-watch Mockingjay: Part 2 this weekend!  I just got the bluray in the mail yesterday and I can’t wait to watch it again.

What have you been reading lately?

  1. That is so annoying that you’re going to be getting a lot of snow! I live in a area known for its snowfall (last year we had 7ft at one point) and we barely got any this year. It’s crazy. Enjoy your Hunger Games audio reread!

    • Wow! That is a lot of snow. I don’t think I would be able to handle that unless I never had to leave my house haha. We usually get quite a bit of snow here but haven’t gotten too much this past winter either.

  2. I’m sorry to hear about the snow. I hope it doesn’t stick around long and that you will have plenty of time to read and enjoy that king-sized bed 😀
I am currently reading (but really close to finishing) The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness (All Souls #3). After finishing the charming children’s classic, Five Children and It by Edith Nesbit, I am hoping to start reading Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell soon; which I hope will be as equally charming if not more so!
