I actually had my best day of reading yet for this round of BoB yesterday. We did a little bit more hiking today but we decided to spend the majority of the day relaxing. On the way home from breakfast we saw a coyote munching on some roadkill remains and then during our hike we saw evidence of some wolves using the trail. We also saw a bald eagle perched above the river we were hiking above, looking for his next meal. It’s been really nice seeing all of the wildlife this trip. We travel up here a lot and haven’t seen this much for a long time.
I read for about an hour and a half in the morning while waiting for my hubby to wake up and again last evening when we both settled down to read our own books. It was pretty nice to just sit in the peace and quiet with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
Day 6 Progress
Number of Pages Read: 248
Total BoB Pages Read: 1174/1500
- A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab (pg. 195-443)
So I’m getting really close to my page goal for this round! But since today is the last day, looks like I have a lot of reading to do this morning and when we get home from our trip. Luckily the drive home from here isn’t too long so we should get home with plenty of time to do things when we get back.
