WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words.
Each week we answer the following three questions:
-What have you recently finished reading?
-What are you currently reading?
-What are you reading next?
Wow! It has been a LONG time since I last posted for WWW Wednesday! March has been a little bit of a slow reading month for me. I’m in the middle of two massive books so they’re both taking up quite a bit of my time.
I took a break on Sunday and read two graphic novels. I’m a huge fan of the show True Blood and the books it is based on, the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The graphic novels aren’t exactly the greatest but they are entertaining enough to hold my interest. I read volumes 2 & 3.
Massive book # 1 that I am reading is actually a re-read of The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon. It is the 5th book in the Outlander series. It’s my third time re-reading it. Each time I re-read the books in this series I like to read from a different edition so this time I’m reading this UK mass market edition.
Massive book # 2 that I’m reading is The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. It was one of my most anticipated releases of 2019 and so far it is fantastic. I feel as if I’ve barely scratched the surface though. Things are really starting to pick up where I am at in the book.
I’m not exactly sure what I will read next. It will depend a lot on how I feel after finishing the two I’m reading now. But I still need to fit in two of my #UnreadBOTMChallenge books in so it will probably two from that stack. I also won’t have much time left on my goal to visit the library at least once per quarter so maybe I’ll go this weekend and fit in a library book as well.
What have you been reading lately?
I can’t wait to read Priory! Glad to see you’re enjoying it.

I definitely recommend The Blinds! It wasn’t what I was expecting but it had such a unique premise that I couldn’t put it down.

I actually read The Blinds in January for the challenge. It was very good.

I set a goal to read a few massive books this year, but I still haven’t had the guts yet. They just keep staring at me from my bookshelf. lol

I’m really looking forward to that one! Perhaps I will have that be one of my choices for the month!

Nice Book of the Month stack – looks like mine, haha! Glass Castle is really good – I read it some time ago and enjoyed it. I recently picked Spinning Silver for a BOTM addon and have to read it yet. I haven’t read Uprooted so I guess I was just putting it off.

Uprooted was so good! I only read it towards the end of last year and wish I had read it sooner. I’m very excited for Spinning Silver.
