WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words.
Each week we answer the following three questions:
-What have you recently finished reading?
-What are you currently reading?
-What are you reading next?
It’s been two weeks since my last WWW Wednesday post. Since then I finally finished the Kindle edition of Legend by Marie Lu. It was good but didn’t blow me away. I much prefered The Young Elites over this book. Then to start off my Halloweeny TBR, I did a re-read of The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich with my finalized physical copy (which is awesome!) And I recently signed up for a free 90 day trial of Audible so I proceeded to get as many Outlander books as I could. I have all of the Kindle editions (in addition to physical) so I got SUPER discounted copies of most of them. Then with my 3 free credits I will be getting the ones I couldn’t get discounted. I LOVED the woman who narrated Outlander. Her voice fits the story perfectly in my opinion.
My 2nd book from my Halloweeny TBR is ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. It’s pretty slow moving and I’ve pretty much lost interest in it. I’m not quite ready to DNF it though. I’m also listening to Dragonfly in Amber. Seriously love the narrator. And thank god she’s the same one for the entire series. I’ve only physically read through Drums in Autumn (book 4) so I want to listen to the audiobooks as a refresher before moving on to read The Fiery Cross (book 5). And I am reading Life and Death by Stephenie Meyer, which is the gender-swapped retelling of Twilight. So many people are giving it bad reviews and so I wanted to read it to make my own opinion before it is colored by everyone else’s. I’m nearly done, will probably be finishing it later today. In my review I will also be including a list of the characters from Twilight and what their new names are in L&D.
I’m still not quite sure what I want to read next from my Halloweeny TBR. It will probably be this one because it is SO long, I need the extra time to read it. Hopefully I’ll have plenty of time to read this weekend since Ethan is sick.
And now for a check-up on my Halloweeny TBW! I have added a few to my list because I’ve made it through more than I thought I would this early in the month.
