Month In Review: March 2016

monthinreview

March was a very busy month for me in my personal life so I started off pretty slim in the books department.  Luckily though I’ve been having a great surge in the last two weeks so I was able to read even more books than last month!  I started getting back into listening to audiobooks at work so that has helped a lot towards my count.  A few of the books I read at the end of the month were shorter books.  I purposely did that because of the release date for The Winner’s Kiss.  I had hoped to finish TWK before the end of the month but for certain personal reasons that just didn’t happen.  So here is the breakdown!

# Books Read in March: 15 (including 5 audiobooks, 1 DNF)

# Books Read in 2016: 39

# Books Towards Goodreads Goal: 39/110

2016 READ MY BOOKS CHALLENGE UPDATE

# Books Read for 2016 Read My Books in March: 9 (not including 1 DNF)

# Books Read for 2016 Read My Books YTD: 18/60

Here are the books that I read this month:

  1. The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner
  2. Blonde Eskimo by Kristen Hunt
  3. Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell
  4. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
  5. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (audiobook re-read)
  6. Stars Above by Marissa Meyer
  7. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (audiobook re-read)
  8. The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski
  9. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi (DNF)
  10. The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman
  11. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (audiobook re-read)
  12. Coraline by Neil Gaiman
  13. Under Different Stars by Amy A. Bartol (audiobook re-read)
  14. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

So that was my month of reading!  I am really looking forward to the books I have planned for April.  I will be posting a TBR tomorrow.  I was going to stop doing monthly TBRs but since I already have a very good idea of what I want to read based on upcoming releases and other recent purchases.

  1. 15 books, yay! I wish I could read that many books in a month. Even without a reading slump I can probably read like 5-6 (not counting audiobooks). I can’t wait to read The Serpent King. I hope I love it!
